Extralink SM Aerial Cable is an overhead fiber optic cable. It is constructed with 12 G.652D fibers placed in 1 loose tube twisted around a central FRP rod, which is the reinforcing element. Cable is covered with HDPE sheath.
Self-supporting optical fiber is characterized by resistance to severe weather conditions and temperature differences. Its construction is reinforced by fiber reinforced plastic (FRP). Outer sheath made of polyethylene is resistant to solar radiation.
