The battery is a solution designed to store energy that can be discharged and recharged several times.

In VLRA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) gel batteries, the electrolyte is kept in the form of a gel, formed after mixing sulphuric acid with special silica.

More and more often they replace well-known acid or alkaline models because of their properties:

• no special maintenance or electrolyte topping up required
• the rooms where the batteries are installed do not need additional ventilation
• they perform well in buffer operation - their service life is up to 5 years
• less internal resistance and higher energy efficiency than traditional batteries
• Much lighter and smaller than acid batteries with the same capacity
• more resistant to extreme temperatures, vibrations and shocks

VLRAs are batteries that do not emit gases under normal conditions and retain their tightness. This means they do not need to be installed in special ventilated rooms. Additionally, they can be installed and used in any position. Reducing the escape of electrolyte outside the housing significantly reduces corrosion in the battery's working environment and helps to protect the environment.
