FTP Network Cable Cat. 5e (outdoor twisted pair) is most commonly used for local area networking and includes Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps speed) as well as Gigabit Ethernet (1000 MB/s) applications. This high quality Cat 5e twisted pair cable is constructed of 4 pairs twisted together to eliminate cross interference and electromagnetic interference. Made of 24 AWG pure copper, the wires are encased in a PE sheath and each wire has a diameter of 0.97 mm including insulation. The aluminum foil shielded installation cable also has an additional grounding conductor. Twisted-pair cables are often used in CCTV installations where one cable can transmit both video signal from several cameras and power supply. The package contains 305 meters of the product.
The outer PE sheath allows the cable to be used outdoors. The package contains a self-winding reel, which guarantees comfortable unwinding of the cable without the risk of entanglement.
The cable is designed for outdoor use, because it is characterized by high resistance to harsh weather conditions and mechanical damage.

The Extralink CAT5E FTP (F/UTP) V2 twisted pair cable is mainly used in installations where the signal passing through the cable may be exposed to various types of interference, e.g. from electrical or other signal cables, i.e. wherever there are elements that directly or indirectly influence the signal flowing through the cable and the intended bit rate will not be higher than 1Gb/s.
